Job Description: Director, Business Development


Job Overview 


We are looking for a Director, Business Development to join our growing Business Development team and help expand Korio's business by selling Randomization & Trial Supply Management (RTSM) solutions across the life sciences and CRO channels. The first line of sight for Korio’s prospective customers is our Business Development team – and so it is critical that this team is built with the highest standards from the get-go. 


 

What you’ll do

  • Embrace the Korio product vision, building excitement across the life sciences market.
  • Independently secure qualified meetings for sales.
  • Collaborate closely with sales to focus on new business generation and current account expansion.
  • Prepare strategy and deliver Sales presentations for prospective customers.
  • Promptly respond and qualify marketing leads via events and web requests.
  • Consistently achieve quotas to help meet revenue targets.
  • Generate pipeline by prospecting new target accounts.
  • Achieve direct outreach goals through sales activities. 
  • Represent Korio at tradeshows.


What you bring to the table

  • 3+ years Sales experience in B2B within the life sciences space.
  • A prospective customer network within the eClinical space.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Independent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable and confident using technology as an integral part of the sales process, with particular experience using Salesforce or other CRMs.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at once.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate uncertainty.
  • Style alignment with a strengths-oriented team environment and the ability to naturally elevate others.
  • Interest in working as part of a small and growing company, with awareness about the opportunities and challenges that come with a highly adaptive environment.
  • Understanding that help is a two-way street- you will ask for help when you need it, and you will offer help when it is needed.
  • Hunger to make an immediate and lasting impact on all aspects of Korio.


Remote Work
